Hmmm interesting, did you fit them? I've just been thinking about doing this. What did you use to make them?

Edit: No worries I've just scrolled down and seen your other posts.

Nice job. The standard auto knob does look really dated these days. I'm surprised more auto owners haven't gone down this route.

Ruskys car is not an auto. It is SMG. His knob would have originally looked like this....oooo err Mrs !

removed and cleaned the washer bottle... it was full of this weird gunk which I'm guessing is the washer liquid going funny after not being used for so long, cleaned, cleaned the pumps and filters, filled with water only. Enjoyed getting the spanners out and having a fiddle!! :) :)

I beat the crap out of her and had my first experience at the tail of the dragon. Was amazing. 3.5 hour drive to it but worth it.

Replaced the lollipops.
After a quick spray of lube I got one off by hand :o and the other came off in 2 pieces with the use of a gear puller. That should have solved the tram lining issue.

Well really should be what BMW did for me yesterday. I bought a clear third brake light from Knights a few weeks back and after fitting it noticed that within a week the seal had broken. Long story short. Took it to Knights and had to book it in. They replaced it and also fitted a couple of spacers/shims. Also mentioned about a tis telling them to file it in a couple of places. No extra cost and a nice Starbucks whilst waiting.
