If mine ever fails then I'd go for the boot option, but in the meantime I'm checking the drain holes regularly with my fingers crossed!

Hi Bowser,bowser134 wrote:I'd be looking to relocate a working motor for around £200 with the motor being hidden.
As a guide if you've seen some of my threads previously with motors ive replaced in the factory location you will see the standard of work I set.
I'm certainly looking to get this done fairly soon. Next month or at the very latest, January. How much time do you require as I'd be coming from Leicester? Do you carry the hydraulic cables in case the current ones aren't in good nick?
Thanks,
Rajen

In the boot's a good option in case you need to check the oil level or replace the motor. Would have saved me a LOT of hassles if mine had been in the boot when it needed replacing.

Re: Is there a market for roof motor relocation?
You need to get it over here mate and have a holiday at the same time. A guy not a million miles from me will fix it virtually permanently for just shy of £600. You need to seriously ask/question your dealerships competency for the work they carry out and charge for. Sue 'em man, they are not fit for purpose. Must have the patience of a Saint
