this is awesome, i am in the process of doing this, how did you take apart the passenger side so you could get to the purple connector? i have taken out all the screws and cannot get the body panel to come out.

Have you removed the glove box?

the problem was the torx bolts holding the airbag in, took me hours to figure that out!!
