I need to connect my car to the BMW computer, the thing that lets you make changes to softwear, uopdate settings diagnose fauklts, reset the service light after a service etc. Does anyone know of a garage in Oxfordshire that has such equipment other than the main dealer?

Id love some help with this, or in general which garage do people use for services in Oxfordshire...?

Other than a main dealer obviously!

cheers

Neil

I use Didcot Auto Centre, went to them on the back of 3 or 4 recommendations, always seen great service...

tired, did i read some where you are coming on the wales meet this weekend?
Thread hijack! I was going to, but my housemate has plans to go out for his birthday this sat night, and I'd have to leave around 6.30am to meet at 10! So regrettably going to miss it again :( I PM'd Sammy earlier today to let him know.

I remember discussing this before with most of those guys...

For my MOT I just take it to the local MOT centre... it was Cooper BMW that put me onto them in the first place. I think they send some of their cars there. If it needs any work doing I'll take it to my indi then back for a re-test.

Use Mark Purcel in cowley he is x BMW north oxford trained and his garage only use offical bmw parts and charge half the labour .sorry i haven't got the land line number as i only have the mobile 07979 692054 look him up he will look after you.

All good advice above so far as I know. As mentioned I use East Oxford Garage for most things, including the MOT on my Zed next week.
They don't have the autologic machine, however nor does Mark Purcell who is a BMW specialist, well at least not when I went to him a year or so ago. I contacted Autologic directly to ask them which local garages had the machine and they pointed me to these 3. I haven't yet tried them out but planning to one day...
All of the garages above will have the diagnostic kit be able to read fault codes and reset service intervals etc.
I used Mark Purcell for a brake fluid change and he stamped my book with a specialist stamp, but for main services I use the dealer and for anything non-book I use East Oxford Garage.

Oxfordshire Indy Garages with Autologic:

Norton Auto Haus in Banbury, 01295 278757.
M40 Car Care in Thame, 01844 260088
