You and me both, looking for the same car.....always liked the M Coupe in Silver grey and with a Black gloss roof,Red leather and CSL wheels.....,even before saw your fine example,Tom, almost bought one before my M Roadster, minus the CSL alloys......now wish I had had the money at the time for both,as couldn't bring myself to not buy an M Roadster
Decent, sub 50k Silver grey M Coupes with Red leather ,etc etc doesn't appear to be coming up.....there was one recently, but had 88k miles!!
I know that's not alot, but like you want lower mileage.

Disks and pads aren't £700 an axle, and even if they were, we don't know if they actually need doing. Those disks might be like that because the car has been sitting and driven a short distance in to have photos taken.
Bearings aren't £1500, I'm sure they can be done for under £1k.
I'd ignore Toms opinion on values too.
It looks like a straight enough car, go and have a look and see how it feels.

I always see this reference of 'changing engine mounts and bolts' like it's an expensive big job? It's really not. OEM disc front and rear would be less than £500, pads I'm sure can't be much more than £150 for a set all round, speculation as usual whether they actually need doing, did anyone call and ask before saying it's a must do? As said, those pictures are quite likely to be showing surface rust from a dealer wash shot photo. It's a ten+ year old car in any case, some things will need doing, whether that's a bmw, porsche or a skoda.
Likewise for the bearings, it would be practically the same decision for any prospective buyer, mileage isn't the be all and end all for that 'analysis'. In any case that job comes in well below 1k apparently and I don't see it as something you would need to rush out and do as soon as you bought the car. Plenty of high milers on here with no issue, 1 recently at 110k iirc which were changed and looked ok, but for sure you may want to budget for that in the long term.
But as usual, let's keep bashing what could be a perfectly fine cars without any facts, seems to be the way around here by some folk

Yes, exactly my thoughts.
As said elsewhere, front discs and pads from BMW are circa £500/£600,but you can get them fitted slightly cheaper at an Indy, and get a deal from ecp on ATE, OEM discs, etc, on a deal for £330 all in,fitting will be £60 at my Indy,so under £400 all in!
Cars for sale on here do get unfair treatment by some!!
I agree with some, cars are booking upto 3-4k less than what they are Actually Selling for

I read stuff like that and remember why I don't frequent this forum very often.
We just have too many idiots.
