wheel offset for17 inch alloys?

Post by dhobbs » Tue Sep 19, 2017 11:05 am

Probably one for Mr Wills but what's the minimum offset that you can have on a e85?

I've seen some e89 17 inch wheels (for winter) but are et29. Is this too small.
I plan to put on 225/45 rubber.

Thanks

depends on the width? presuming theyre 8J You should be ok with et29 on a 8j & a 225.

Looking at style 290
They're 8j.

I want something easy to clean during the winter, so some 5 spokes are good.

Currently have 135s which take ages to get into all the nooks and crannies!

Thanks, maybe I'll give those e89 alloys a miss then.
Back to searching for new alloys.
