Thinking of filling the bottom compartment with it's original "part", but what that part could be I have no idea. There's unconnected black wires so I guess it used to house some kind of gizmo.
What could I do with this space? Interested in anyone's creative ideas!

Fit a GROM Audio iPod/Phone adapter instead. Connects to the CD changer wiring.

The problematic cd changer. Worth replacing with a intravee/gromm style unit I think, been thinking of doing this myself for USB/Bluetooth streaming

Nothing wrong with units its the silicone damping that goes off and stops it
Fit an audiovox media bridge as can simply plug it in to exposed 2 plugs:)

I'd fit an intravee myself. Thencover the hole with a cut down DVD cover. They are just big enough and the right colour.
