Hi
Could be many things from a dodgy sensor to something expensive. Best advise I can offer, having had this issue would be if you have checked tyre pressures and done the re-set, get it fault code checked. Hopefully fingers crossed it note something serious.

Re: What's these on my dash
Hi I have a 2004 3.0l and I have had this problem over the last week. I have diagnostic software which gives the dreaded 5E20 error code. This is low pressure sensor. The brake master cylinder has two pressure sensors. These could be the problem but it could also be the abs unit......mega money but you can get them repaired. You need to look at some of the articles posted on the forum. If the yellow triangle and yellow brake lights are on you have no traction control or abs so drive carefully!!!
Mine is in at the garage saturday for two new sensors to be fitted. Hope that cures it.

On a mall positive the lights are yellow, which suggest a "get it looked at" and not critical "red", I would just get it looked at ASAP. Did you check tyre pressures and reset the tyre warning system? This sometime cures the issue?Zcarzz wrote:Thanks very much r3ap4r will get it checked out sat.is it ok to still drive .?
I had run flats which looked perfect, but after having them removed the rear tyres had several nails on the inside rear walls and as such this was triggering the tyre warning system, which them impacts on traction control.

Hi All,
Had my Zed back from the local garage new sensors fitted to the master cylinder. Someone on the forum mentioned the yellow lights being intermittent to start then coming on all the time. Well I was at the intermittent stage. Local garage has an excellent reputation as an indie BMW specialist.
Both replaced as pictured. No Christmas tree effect on the dashboard and peace of mind my brakes work correctly.

Hi,
I had the error code 5E20. My local garage are a bmw independant and pretty reasonable. One of the pressure sensors had failed so was giving the faults on the dash. I was told one was giving the fault code error but in his opinion it was better to change both. The sensors are about one hundren quid each. You may not need both, I'm not sure. In the Isle of Man at mo in the Zed and no problems since they were changed.
Regards
