Staying oop norf this week so decided to call into the Hartside Cafe for a cuppa & slice of pie, busy place with many bikers & sizable Lotus contingent.
I particularly liked the 340r (name represents power to weight ratio)

It's one of my regular ride outs on my bikes, even seen a helicopter land there and have a coffee, great views on a clear day.

it's a beautiful place but looks a trifle cold so will wait till early summer for a visit. Have a mate who cycles up and down from Penrith for fun. Can't understand it as he has a perfectly good car that will do the same job :?

Great drive back down to Durham across the moors
