The 35i has gone......Now a JCW

Well the title says it all got a decent offer from my local Bmw dealership which coincided with a bit of itchy feet and the Zed was gone !
Have been thinking of going down the daily drive and something in the garage for the weekend route so the Mini is the first part of the plan
Was looking at a brand new Abarth 595 Turismo but the sums didn't really add up for us and we got a good deal on the Mini
Got to say many thanks to PVR for help and advice regarding the Abarth

The next part of the plan is hopefully something along the lines of Caterham/Westfield subject to swmbo's approval

Will try to get on a few forum hoons,don't mind being tail gunner

The auto has the same features as the swmbos 435 but only 6 gears just need to get used to the flappy paddles
Passed my old car today on the forecourt was a bit gutted to be honest

I took out a jcw mini whilst swmbo's Cooper was in for a service, I really liked it-plenty of turbo spooling/flutter sounds & loved the dash picturing a space rocket and a go-cart when scrolling through the engine modes

I hope you havnt made a mistake.
I cant believe anybody would swap a Z4 for a Mini, no matter what spec the Mini is.
Its a nice looking Mini but not a patch on your Z.
My previous car was a Mini (not anything special) and can honestly say that I would not own another.
A nice wee car to run around in but hopeless for half decent journeys, terrible on fuel and expensive when any part of the engine/clutch/gearbox breaks.

Had a cooper S a few years ago so I'm a bit of a fan
