Did you get the second year warranty as well included? I got that as well as 2 services + £1k Audi contribution.

Downside was that you had to take the Audi finance for 3 months.

Final days with the Z4

I have also just got an Audi over the last few days... and got the minimum finance to get the free servicing... I found out through Audi finance yesterday that you can "withdraw" within the 14 days and pay only the daily interest and you keep the servicing!!

Their words were (which were recorded on the telephone unlike sleezy sales chat)

You legally have the right to withdraw from any finance agreement within 14 days and that is separate from any dealer incentives which will not be affected.

The minimum terms of 3-6months they throw at people seem to be a joke as thats the minimum terms for audi finance to pay their commission from to the sales reps!

Correct acquazi that's what I also have, the minimum 6 months was worded to me as a gentleman's agreement that you wouldn't screw them over by cutting it before then and killing their profit

Same here, gentleman's agreement term was used as well.

Problem with the finance is that it is balanced in such a way that in the beginning you mostly pay interest and little equity (their profit), and with the fees I think they still make a nice profit overall.

The costs was still less then the incentive of £1k contribution (on top of negotiated trade . discount etc) and the extra year warranty and services, hence I did it for the minimum 3 months.

Ahh see sounds like you got a decent dealer...

I was told... In had to pay the 9 months to qualify for the free servicing...and then the first payment had the (initially undisclosed) agreement fee.

If i was told it was a gentleman's agreement and they had knocked off my agreement fee i would have played ball!!

Why has nobody added 1 to 1 and came to 3?

Let's summarise this story.

Bloke has convertible for a year and needs to sell up to get a 4 seater saloon. What would we normally say? Girlfriend is pregnant.

So Disca, anything to confess? :poke: :fuelfire:

Grats Disca - many times i have considered one of these, purely for the noise they generate with certain exhausts!

I'm guessing Ruby is hinting the larger engine is making up for other things... Mine must be tiny, i can't wait to buy a V12 Vantage :D
V12 Vantage S - Hammerhead Silver, Manual, Lightweight Wheels, Exterior Carbon++, Carbon Buckets, AMR Performance Pack.
M135i LCI - ZF8, White, HK Audio, Adaptive

GONE Z4 M Coupe, Imola, CSLs
GONE C63 AMG, Black, Performance Pack+, LSD, HK
