My New Toy!!

Post by Leadfoot Z » Thu Nov 17, 2016 11:11 pm

I thought I would treat myself! (partly due to Santa never leaving me anything!)

This was purchased from Slims, great service and fast delivery (James is the man to speak to - top chap!)
The kit seems very good quality, hopefully I will try this out this weekend and provide some feebback.

Its the Rupes Nano Ibrid polisher, this is a mini polisher that can use small polishing pads to get into small areas, creases etc. It can be used as either a rotary polisher with pads just over 1inch diameter or a dual action modes with I think 3mm and 12mm throw using a 70mm foam pad.
It can be operated cordless or plugged in...

I think this will be ideal for bumpers around headlights, wing mirrors and around the rear lights on Z4, It can also be used as a sander with adhesive sanding disc, I have a spare set of 108's im going to have a trial with!

That "contagious " joke springs to mind!

It does look like a well engineered bit of kit tho

I suspect if it has the 'Rupes' name attached to it, it will be very good quality
