Midsummer Z-series roadtrip - 20/08/2017 - Belgium (Namur)
Hey guys !!!
Two very good friends of mine organise an annual roadtrip in Belgium exclusively for Z-series on 20/08/2017. Should anyone be interested in a great daytrip in Belgium (or if you are from / in the neighbourhood), I can really recommend this one! It's a quality roadtrip for only 60 euro per person.
There are about 10 spots left so far. I'm not expecting a lot of response here (taking into account the distance) but you never know
Included:
- Breakfast in a lovely old converted Farm
- Aperitive, Lunch in a lovely converted Mansion, coffee and dessert (at the end)
- Roadbook (dutch unfortunately => but I don't mind to drive in group to help everyone out )
- Goodiebag
- Lots of fun
- The pleasure of meeting Bad_Pritt in person! (I should ask the organiser to charge extra!)
Dayprogramm:
- 08.30: Arrivel in "La Ferme d'Achêne (in Achêne, part of Namur)
- 09.00: Breakfast (whilst the photographer takes pictures of our cars)
=> The same photographer who made pics at our latest event: http://spykerforce.weebly.com/rce-spring-tour-2017.html
- 10.00: Briefing before departure
- 10.10: Part 1 (110km)
- 12.00: Lunchstop at "Le Charme de la Semois"
- 14.15: Part 2 (50km)
- 15.00: Pitstop (location to be defined)
- 15.20: Part 3 (90km)
- 17.00: Arrival back in Achêne (coffee & dessert)
- 19.00: End

Midsummer Z-series roadtrip - 20/08/2017 - Belgium (Namur)
Hi Brad
Just read your post and sent an email to a friend who also has a z4 about this. Is there still places left on this event do you know and can you tell me are you traveling over from the UK?
Provisional interest at this time but can firm up over the next few days if that's ok?
Cheers, Russell.

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the fence with the front of the car,
OVERSTEER is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car,
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the fence,
TORQUE is how far you take the fence with you.

There are still a few places left. So far, we have 21 confirmed Zeds. I'm from Belgium, so I won't be travelling out of the UK though
I'll put you both on the "maybe" list for the time being. Could you just confirm what cars you're both driving?
Cheers,
Kris

Indeed, that's about three hours away... You missed a nice Z-series drive in Holland recently tho: the "Limborit" organised every year by http://www.z3forum.nl (unless you already know of this forum). I participated to the Limborit a few years back and it was a great drive, so I'd recommend it. And it's closer to you
Having said that, if you're ever interested in our road trips, be sure to visit www.roadstersencoupes.be We're actually going to Holland on 8/10 (Antwerp - Zeeland - Antwerp).

Yep I was at the Limborit.
There also was an english delegation from the zroadster forum like last year (about 12 cars I think).
About 80 Z's in total.
Next day some of us also went to the Spa Francourchamps circuit to do 2 laps (someone on zroadster.org organizes that)
So a lot of people make it a 3 day event (arrive saturday in a hotel, dine with friends, sunday limborit incl lunch/dinner etc, monday Spa francourchamps)

date doesn`t work this year, but would be up for next year ( would make it part of a road trip with the missus )
