Remove Number Plate Sticky Pads?
I've finally joined the ranks of the majority of you on here and got myself a private plate, but now I've got the added fun of removing my current ones and the horrible sticky mess that I know will be left from the sticky pads. Does anyone know of any good ways of removing the pads and the residue easily?

Hairdrier, white spirit, a razor blade and a plastic scouring pad!

I roll the pads off with thumb. If cold, warm then with a hot air gun (gently) of hairdryer. They usually come off easily, but reside with contact adhesive remover.
