Has anyone on here retro-fitted the pre-facelft aero kit at all? I was thinking of ordering the front bumper and side skirts and doing it myself. Anyone know how you go about removing the od ones etc?
Help much appreciated..

Re: Aerodynamic Kit
Hi Alex,
I put the aero front bumper cover on my 03 3.0. Removing the old one and putting on the new one was fairly straightforward. You can search around on the web for documentation. I found some a couple of years ago.
Basicly you just have to undo a bunch of bolts and screws and take the old one off, move the fog lights into the new cover, and then bolt it on. The double kidney grills just snap out of the old cover and you push them into the new one. It took me about an hour to do.
Have fun!

Side skirts are easy too, there is a write-up somewhere with pics, will try and search for it now.

Post some pictures. I am interested in doing something similar and want to see what it comes out to look like!

Re: Aerodynamic Kit
Can you buy them already sprayed the right colour then? (assuming new from BMW?)
Tempted by some aero side skirts only.

Re: Aerodynamic Kit
Aero skirts would be about £650 painted IIRC, then fit them yourself.
