So I joined this forum way back in 2011, at the time I was looking to buy an E86, to the point that I actually put a deposit on one. Unfortunately the very backstreet garage that I found it at failed to disclose several issues that I lucky checked up on before handing over all my cash, not that I ever managed to get my deposit back.
Just after that one fell through, a friend of my dad had just had the sale of his 3yr old MK2 TT fall though, and was looking to get rid of it quickly, he offered it to me at a price I couldn't refuse, and for the last 6yrs I has been the best car I have ever owned. So far...
Last week I finally found the Z4 for me, and E89 this time, 35si in bright orange, and based on last week alone, its the best decision I have ever made
p.s. sorry in advance for the inevitable raft of newbie questions!

I'd say you have some catching up to do and the perfect car for the job.
Welcome back to the fold.

Yes, belated welcome OP.
And nothing like jumping in at the deep end with a 35is!
Your car looks fantastic - but then I do love Valencia Orange.
When I bought my 123d in 2008 I looked longingly at a Z4 Coupe in the showroom, but didn't buy one until 2014! Still it makes it even more of a pleasure when you finally get there! Enjoy.
