Just joined and thought would say hello! Looking to buy my first Z4 within next few weeks.(I'm currently away with work) I've got my mind set on the 3.0l but unsure whether to go for manual or automatic. :driving: Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hello and welcome

the majority on here will say go for the manual, but personally having driven both I prefer the auto, probably cos i'm lazy. The auto is a very good box and it will change gear faster than most zed drivers can in there manual cars

Hi,the car will be great either way basically just your personal preference and what the car will be used for, daily driver or weekend fun,try both before buying and then you can make a choice that fits your needs,
Good luck with the search

Welcome

Exciting times ahead. Whilst there are lots of zeds around you may be limiting yourself if you had your heart set on an auto in terms of optional extras, mileage etc. It sounds like you could be swayed either way so your in a good position if a nice example pops up.

Personally I'd go with the manual - the zeds a drivers car after all. But it all comes down to preference, I wouldn't ever slate the auto as I haven't driven a zed in auto form.

If its not going to be an E89 then the important question is roadster; roadster; roadster or that other model
