Hi Everyone, this forum looks the most friendly I've ever had the pleasure of joining...my back story....

I've been on the look out for a manual 3.0 for a while. I really wanted 'grey' as it was the car featured in the BMW films with Clive Owen. I didn't want mega miles and it must have the Elipsoid alloys and preferably the Carver HiFi.......

Many months later I widened my search to "any colour" when eventually this Toledo Blue, 1 owner, 33,000 miler cropped up only a 30 minute journey away through a private seller. A deal was struck and then the work began!

Here's a few pictures after lots of hard work....there's still much more to be done....I hope you like :D

Thanks Rob. It didn't look this good a couple of months ago! Still have the inside to refine. It drives like a dream and makes me smile every time I venture out in it

Thank you  It was a labour of love! I've had the alloys refurbished as they were starting to corrode and two of them had historic kerbing, replaced discs and pads front and rear...next job buy non-run flats.. the general consensus is the eagle F1s.....any advice before I click and add to basket would be warmly received :D

Hi Pastry, hi Russ59. I'm from High Wycombe but originally from the South West. I really miss the great driving roads over Dartmoor and the coastal roads... The balance is I'm only 30 minutes from London and in the Buckinghamshire area there are some great country lanes to drive quickly but safely around. I would of loved to attend Zedfest but I already committed that weekend as I'd love to meet some fellow Z4 fans :)

Looks great. I'm from Bucks too and often head up that way for a dab of oppo. :driving:
2008 Z4MC: heavy wheels | crap suspension | skittish rear end | wobbly engine | not enough induction noise | underwhelming turn in | inconsistent braking | lardy battery | chubby steering wheel
