New to zeds

Hi everybody,
Just bought my first zed and the sun better come out soon, will upload some pics but I'm sure you all know what they look like already, I'm glad I joined as reading some of the previous posts has already underlined some of the issues I have but nothing that can't be sorted given time.

Ok so I'm a total newbie to any kind of forum and use an iPad,
How on earth do I upload pics, will I need an app to do so ? ( I have read the tutorial)
Also I can't seem to upload an avatar as all I have tried are too big apparently and don't seem able to reduce them

Im not the best at I.T but get a photobucket account to post your pics to, then copy & paste the "img" link (by pressing & holding), press "select all" and then "copy"
Now press & hold in the forum txt box and select "paste"
this should leave your pic in its wake, I don't know how it works? its magic

So it seems to work but only with a link without showing the picture without clicking on the link.

Not up to speed with Ipads, but can you click on the attachements tab at the bottom of the page (when posting a reply)?
Browse, locate and paste image.

An easy way is,hit the new post button,then at the bottom of the post hit the attachments button,then add files

When I've used that method I get terrible quality pics?
