I'm liking the black and silver, it shows the shape of the car off more.

Should look even better when all the lights and wheels are back on it.

Well the time has come to reveal the finished product. After months of wrenching and adjusting and assembling and disassembling my E85 facelift has rolled onto the stree once again. I have to say that the response to the new paint scheme has been fantastic and she has turned more head's then a red carpet night in Hollywood. I have a couple of finishing touches to add then I am going to start on the interior and the engine bay. I welcome everyone's thoughts and comments. Great to be posting on the forum again. Tops down and pedal to the metal all. ROADSTER LIFE IS GOOOOOOD :driving:

Nice update, Reiger front looks sweet. Have you got a shot of the rear? You've got some sort of diffuser?
Like I said looking pretty good. Two tone doesn't really do it for me but defo unique!

Like the completed view - definitely a unique look. Not convinced on the back though - you seem to have tinted the rear lights but left a red flash? Is that the french fry? I would also tint (or purchase clear) side indicators to replace the orange.

Did you go for a quad-port conversion in the end, or is that a later planned change?

I like the look of the front end, it would be interesting to see the car in the flesh. Some more pic of the rear please.

Hello everyone been a while since my last post I've been very busy. Some more additions to the car. Added some carbon fiber Mirror covers ,stubby antenna, carbon fiber wrapped B side skirt along the bottom wind Channel, got my carbon fiber Grill inserts in and finally, changed all the badges to black & silver caebon fiber look, smoked the tail lights, and carbon fiber wrapped the air box cover. All in all I'm pleased. Have to get the suspension updated before I step into the performance mods period have some requests for shot of the rear end so I am posting those I'm really enjoying driving the car it has turned a lot of heads and got a lot of comments. Went to the local Cruise in the other night and was overwhelmed period I love it. Falling in love with the coups and I'm looking for a coupe to add to my little stable here. Also looking for a way to clean and die the soft top. I've seen a couple of products on the BMW Forum I belong to on Facebook but they're only available in Germany and the UK. Does anyone know of a us-based products I can get. Keep the rubber on the road and enjoy the sunny Roadster days.

Renovo do a range for the soft tops - dye, cleaner and protector (amazon.com link) For cleaner/protector, you can also use 303 products - they are both pretty good.

Mr Wilks on here uses a mix of Autoglym protector and liquid shoe polish for his roofs, and they always look pretty good on the photos!

My personal routine is to first vacuum clean the roof, then use a small amount of non-bio washing powder (make sure you fully rinse though afterwards to remove any residue) - works great at cleaning the roof, but ensure you use a soft brush and gently work into the fabric. Once a year, while the roof is damp (not soaking) I then use a canvass black dye (this one is from UK Amazon, but there should be similar in the US), and then use GTechniq (amazon.com link) for protector

Further to Markeg's post - I believe 303® High Tech Fabric Guard is well thought of amongst Z4 owners in the US.
Looking forward to some more pics now you've added more mods to the Zed (Zee :) )
