I now have 7 bookmarked forums I am registered for specifically addressing the Zed series of BMWs. Pretty amazing considering the actual numbers of these cars out on the roads.
Heaven only knows how I am ever going to find the time to keep up with all of them but this certainly beats the alternative of no internet groups at all.

Being the contact ho that I am. I generally have one main forun ( Z4-forum ) and I still visit the others to inform other Z's of events and post links to the main post.
What I need to learn, is how to post a link to something without actually showing the path. Can one of you data gods help me with that? Instead of showing the http path, say have a word with that link within the word. I'm most likely not explaining this very well.

Are you refering to being able to have a word within your post being a link to something else?
For example a link to a fire-n-ice thread response like this one?
If you hold your mouse pointer over the URL button while you are composing a message it shows you that you can use the syntax [url=http://yourURLhere]linked text[/u r l ] to display it. I added in the spaces on the last [/ur l] so it would not try to actually perform this in the example.
