New E89 35i Owner in Wokingham U.K.

Post by Lazza » Sat Nov 11, 2017 11:26 am

Hi all

I bought my first Z4 just over a week ago a 2009 Z4 35i in space grey (I think that’s what it’s called). I love it!!!

I got it from a local BMW dealer so did pay a little over the odds for it but it is in great condition for an 8 year old car and the fitted new tyres (run flats but they will do for now), paid for the tax, an mot and a service and I get a 12 month pretty comprehensive warranty so that helps a lot.

I have some pictures but the photo hosting site I used to use is photobucket and they have blocked all photo sharing from free accounts and it’s not something I care enough about to pay for. What is the best site to use for this now?

Hi flimper, I’ll keep an eye out for you - lovely colour!

Mine is being used as my daily so can be spotted most days driving between Finchampstead and Kingsclere.

Partly. The roads are mostly pretty good but it’s mostly pretty slow stuff. The traffic is light but there is always something and there are only 2 short stretches on the whole 22 mile trip where an overtake is possible.
I’ve been using a Merc C220 cdi as my daily for the last 2 years and it was averaging around 30mph for that trip. The advantage was also averaging over 55mpg. I’m getting half of that now
