Late intro
Hi,
Ive been lurking on the forums for a couple of years now, around the time when I purchased my Z4. Its a facelift 2.5si roadster, black with red interior.
I use to drive a Honda DelSol, 1.6 VTi. Fun little car, problems are relatively easy to diagnose and fix, however, it did start to show its age. The Z4 was not my first choice for the required upgrade, but by recommendation from a friend, he helped source a good fit for my requirements. I don't regret this.
As a second hand car, its not without its problems, but I will make separate posts about these elsewhere. Some are already fixed with the vast knowledge this community possess; others are minor issues that can be tolerated, but will be dealt with in due time. But as I learn more about the car, it seems there may be some mechanical issues that need to be addressed.
These wheels were on the car when I purchased it. They are 17", Style 391 and came off a 3 series I believe. I am unsure of fitment, but I do know the tyre sizes are too big for the Z4.
I don't usually post on forums, but due to the complicated nature of most modern cars, I feel that discussions will be required to further my understanding, if not for myself, then for future owners of Z4's. I hope this obligatory introduction in the newbie section will be the start of this journey.
Regards

Hi and welcome to the forum OP.
Good effort to add a photo to your first post, but you need to find another hosting site because "botophucket" doesn't let you share your photo!

Greetings from another 2.5si owner (the 'poor cousins' on this forum I think ). I hope the forum can help in getting your Zed back in top shape, it certainly has been a goldmine of info and helpful members for me.

No way! Great engine.
