Browsing the forum tonight, a banner advertising dodgy sat nav updates appeared ?
I haven't been looking at that sort of stuff and wouldn't consider it as the car is still in warranty but I'm curious to know how its popped up?
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!

Those adverts are almost certainly aimed specifically at you. :o Based on your browsing history. Mine is currently showing drill batteries. Funnily enough I bought a new drill, click and collect at screwfix, yesterday. So Marlon's will be showing various male grooming products for example.

I did look at a post recently where the "dodgy " disks were discussed.
So big brother is watching?

You can switch it off in your browser settings, if it's a bother. You then get more random adverts.

I've got ads for varifocal specs following me looking on the web yesterday. It is big brother to an extent, but I don't find them intrusive.

I just don't notice them ..... I suppose on my page most are for ladies underwear or guns and ammo, I'll start worrying when they are for Depends or Viagra.
